McBride Named WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week

Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride is the W-N-B-A Western Conference Player of the Week.

It is McBride’s third career weekly honor and her second this season. She averaged 24 points during the week, highlighted by a career-high 43-point performance Sunday against Dallas.

McBride made 10 three-pointers in that game, becoming the first player in league history to reach that total in a single contest.

The Lynx are the first W-N-B-A team to secure a playoff berth this season. Minnesota visits the Portland Fire Wednesday night at 9 P-M Central. WNBA game information
