McLeod Co Sheriff Has Reminders About Winstock

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Winstock Camping and Country Music Festival in Winsted.

The campgrounds will be opened up today (Thursday) and the festival gates officially open Friday morning for two solid days of music.

And with that, the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office has a few reminders for those attending the festival.

Temporary stop and speed reduction signs have been placed in the area of the Winstock grounds.

All campfires must be less that 3-feet tall, self-contained, and attended.

And the Howard Lake bridge on Wright County Road 6 (10th Ave), just north of Highway 12 has a clearance of only 11’7” so you would be advised to check your vehicle and/or camper’s height before using that route.

This year’s headliners include Jason Aldean and Cole Swindell.
