(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins made just one modest move prior to yesterday’s Major League Baseball trade deadline The Twins acquired reliever Trevor Richards from the Toronto Blue Jays in a deal that sent infield prospect Jay Harry north of the border. Richards is 2-1 with a 4.64 earned run average in 52-and-a-third innings so far this season. The Twins also called up right-hander Randy Dobnak from Triple-A St. Paul prior to last night’s loss to the Mets in New York.
