Minnesota Approves Higher Health Insurance Premiums for 2027
Minnesotans who buy their own health insurance face another round of premium increases next year.
Final rates approved by the Department of Commerce show insurers’ average increases ranging from 10 to just over 21 percent in the individual market. Average increases for small-employer plans range from about 11 to 21 percent.
Those figures are averages. Actual changes depend on the plan, location, age and renewal date.
