Minnesota Bio-Fuels Association Honored for Expanding E15

The Minnesota Bio-Fuels Association is receiving national recognition for helping expand access to E-15 fuel, commonly sold as Unleaded 88.

The American Coalition for Ethanol presented the association with its 2026 Paul Dana Marketing Vision Award during its annual conference in Minneapolis.

The association says Minnesota has grown from 84 E-15 retailers in 2015 to more than 550 today. State sales reached a record 144-point-5-million gallons in 2025.

The group credits partnerships with fuel retailers, consumer education and investments in fueling infrastructure for the growth.
