Minnesota Forms Task Force to Review Standardized Testing
Minnesota is forming a 28-member task force to review the state’s standardized-testing system.
The Department of Education says Minnesota currently relies heavily on tests administered once each year. The panel will explore assessments that provide educators and families with more timely and useful information.
Members will include educators, school leaders, students, parents and elected officials. The task force is expected to begin meeting in October.
