Minnesota Minimum Wage Rising to $11.87

Minnesota’s minimum wage is going up at the beginning of next year.

The statewide rate will increase to 11-dollars and 87-cents an hour on January 1st, 2027. That is a three-point-nine-nine-percent increase from the current rate of 11-dollars and 41-cents.

The 90-day training wage for workers under age 20 will rise to 9-dollars and 68-cents an hour.

Minneapolis and St. Paul have separate ordinances requiring higher minimum wages for work performed in those cities. Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry
