Minnesota Opens Applications for Livestock Grants

Minnesota farmers and ranchers can now apply for two grant programs supporting livestock operations.
The Livestock Investment Grant offers up to 1-point-5-million dollars for improvements to buildings, infrastructure and equipment.

Another 250-thousand dollars is available to help producers purchase equipment that protects poultry and other livestock from avian influenza.

Applications for both programs are due November 17th.
