Minnesota Seeking Landowners for Tree-Planting Program

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is accepting applications through December 1 for the second round of its Field to Forest Cost Share Program. Eligible landowners can receive up to 75 percent reimbursement for tree-planting costs, plus a $500-per-acre incentive after planting is completed. The program is designed to restore historically forested land, adding 1,500 acres of new trees.
