Minnesota State Fair Heads Into First Weekend

The Minnesota State Fair is heading into its first weekend after opening its 12-day run Thursday.

Fairgoers are sampling new foods, touring livestock exhibits and taking in the rides and attractions along the Midway.

Bonnie Raitt opened this year’s Grandstand concert schedule Thursday night with special guest Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen.

Tonight, “Weird Al” Yankovic brings his Bigger and Weirder Tour to the Grandstand. Puddles Pity Party will open the show beginning at 7 PM.
