Minnesota State Fair Opens August 27

The Great Minnesota Get-Together is less than two weeks away.

The 2026 Minnesota State Fair runs from Thursday, August 27th, through Labor Day, September 7th. Organizers are encouraging visitors to plan ahead using the fair’s website and official app for maps, schedules, food information and discounts.

More than 30 free Park-and-Ride locations are expected to serve the fairgrounds. Pre-fair admission tickets are available for 17 dollars through August 26th.

A major new attraction is the America Wheel, a 230-foot observation wheel featuring 45 gondolas. More information is available at mnstatefair.org.
