Minnesota State Fair Opens for 12-Day Run

The Great Minnesota Get-Together opens today for its annual 12-day run.

The Minnesota State Fair grounds open at 7 A-M. Opening Day admission is 18 dollars for adults and 15 dollars for seniors and children ages 5 through 12. Discounted food, merchandise, rides and games are also available.

Today is STEM Day at Dan Patch Park, featuring hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities for young people.

Bonnie Raitt performs at the Grandstand tonight at 7 with special guest Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen.
