Minnesota State Fair Poll Seeks Views on Legislative Issues

Minnesota State Fair visitors can share their views on issues facing state lawmakers through an annual House opinion poll.

The informal survey is available at the Minnesota House of Representatives booth in the Education Building.

This year’s poll contains 12 questions covering issues including firearms, voter identification, term limits, infertility treatment and increased school funding.

Fairgoers can also meet state representatives and obtain information about the Legislature.

House officials emphasize that the poll is informal and unscientific. The results are scheduled to be released September 8th, the day after the State Fair closes. Minnesota House of Representatives
