Minnesota Student-Athletes Compete for National Clay Target Titles

Minnesota student-athletes are in Michigan this week for the 2026 USA High School Clay Target League National Championship. The five-day competition features nearly 3,000 shooters from 469 high schools across the country competing for individual and team national titles. Minnesota is home to one of the nation’s largest school clay target programs, with more than 12,000 middle and high school students competing on over 400 teams each year. Nationwide, the USA Clay Target League serves more than 57,000 student-athletes and awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to qualifying seniors each year.
