Minnesotan Regan Smith takes Silver

(Paris) — The U-S dominated swimming events once again at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday. The Stars and Stripes earned four medals in three final events. Lakeville native Regan Smith won a silver medal in the women’s 100-meter backstroke, while Katharine Berkoff placed third. Team U-S-A also bagged silver in the men’s 200-meter freestyle relay and missed out on gold by one second.
