Minnesota’s PWHL forces decisive Game 5 in OT
(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota women’s professional hockey team kept its season alive with a 1-0 double-overtime win over Toronto last night at the Xcel Energy Center. Former Minnesota-Duluth star goalie Maddie Rooney of Andover didn’t allow a goal in the game to help Minnesota advance to a decisive Game Five in Toronto tomorrow night at 6 P-M. The winner tomorrow advances to the P-W-H-L Championship Series. Former Minnesota State-Mankato star Claire Butorac scored the game-winner for Minnesota at 4:27 of the second O-T. She and Rooney were high school teammates at Andover.
