Minnesota’s PWHL team loses game 1 of Championship Series

(Boston, MA) — The Minnesota Professional Women’s Hockey League lost Game One of the championship series in Boston yesterday 4-3. Former Gopher star Taylor Heise of Lake City scored two Minnesota’s three goals and assisted on the other. Minnesota led the game 1-0 and 2-1, but could not hold on. Game Two of the best-of-five Walter Cup Finals is set for tomorrow night at 6 P-M at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
