MN Legislature Returns from Easter/Passover Break
(Learfield News/St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota lawmakers return to the State Capitol today (Monday) following the Easter/Passover break.
Passing a two-year state budget and a bonding bill are among the top priorities for the legislature.
The House Ways and Means Committee is scheduled to take up the 172-million-dollar agriculture finance bill this afternoon.
Only a handful of bills have been passed this session, but House and Senate leaders are confident they can complete their work by the May 19th deadline.
