MN Towing Companies Assisting with Hurricane Recovery
(Learfield News/Willmar, MN) — Towing companies from Willmar and Melrose were expected to arrive in Asheville, North Carolina Saturday to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
Randy Czarnetzki of City Line Towing says while they won’t be doing any towing, they are bringing the gear needed to help local authorities clear out a mountain pass where people are stranded.
He says, “we’ll be going by four-wheeler and side-by-side through a mountain path where right now it’s impassable and the people on the other side are really only getting service by helicopters.”
People donated 10 thousand dollars’ worth of gear, generators, hygiene supplies and blankets for their trip.
