Erick Fedde tossed five shutout innings to earn his seventh win. Matt Wallner went deep for Minnesota in the loss, and Bailey Ober pitched well but was charged with his fifth loss after giving up three runs in six innings. The Twins came from behind to win the nightcap 3-2. Brooks Lee and Carlos Correa hit back-to-back jacks to tie the game at 2-2 in the sixth inning, before Ryan Jeffers drove home Byron Buxton for the go-ahead tally in the seventh. Steven Okert picked up his third win in relief. Martin Maldonado homered for Chicago, and Mike Soroka was charged with his tenth loss out of the pen. The Twins took two of three in the series and are 9-1 against the White Sox this year. Minnesota is now 53-40 on the season and five-games behind first-place Cleveland in the A-L Central. The Twins are off tonight and will open a three-game weekend interleague series against the Giants in San Francisco tomorrow night.
