MNDOT CONTINUES TO MONITOR AREA ROADS DUE TO FLOODING

MnDOT is continuing to monitor state highways in south central and the southwest corner of Minnesota due to flooding.  Several rivers in south central Minnesota are forecasted to continue to rise and flooding impacts are expected to continue.  Among the highways that are closed or have restrictions as of late Sunday morning – a lane closure on eastbound Highway 60 east of Lake Crystal, traffic is detoured on Highway 15 north of Madelia, detours for Highway 19 east of Henderson, and head-to-head in the southbound lanes of Highway 169 north of St. Peter and detours around the Highway 99 Minnesota River bridge in St Peter.  Highways that have opened are Highway 4 north of St. James and Highway 60 in Windom.   Authorities are monitoring Highway 99 east of the Minnesota River bridge for potential closings or lane restrictions.  You can find out the latest road reports at 511 mn dot org.
