MNDOT HIGHWAY UPDATE
MnDOT is continuing to closely monitor state highways in southcentral and southwest Minnesota due to flooding. MnDOT closed Highway 169 from Le Sueur to Highway 22 in St. Peter this (Tuesday) morning. Highway 169 from Highway 99 south of St. Peter to Mankato closed Monday and is still closed. Detours are in place. Other highways that are closed include Highways 60 and 62 in Windom, Highway 22 south of St. Peter, Highway 15 north of Madelia, Highway 99 near the Minnesota River bridge in St. Peter, Highway 14 near Janesville and Highway 19 east of Henderson among many others. Among the highways that are open – lane restrictions have been removed on eastbound Highway 60 east of Lake Crystal, Highway 4 north of St. James is open but Highway 4 south of Sleepy Eye is closed due to construction, Highway 30 east of Westbrook is open as is Highway 13 south of Waseca.
