Montevideo’s Bridget Petersen Wins 2027 Ice Castle in IMRN “King of the Castle, Queen of the Cash” Giveaway
MORTON, Minn. — One Ingstad Minnesota Radio Network listener went home with a brand-new Ice Castle Thursday night as IMRN wrapped up its King of the Castle, Queen of the Cash Giveaway at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel in Morton.
Bridget Petersen of Montevideo was the grand-prize winner, taking home the 2027 Ice Castle “Grandpa’s Hideout” Ice House.
It was a cold and rainy night in Morton, but that didn’t stop a large crowd of IMRN listeners from converging on Jackpot Junction, hoping their name would be called for the Ice Castle or one of the night’s cash prizes.
Four additional qualifiers walked away as cash winners:
- Laurie Meger of Union Hill
- Doc O’Connell of St. Thomas
- Brian Schultz of Warsaw
- Tami Skelley of Le Sueur
Every qualifier also received something extra for making the trip — an evening of entertainment following the giveaway.
The crowd stayed for a special Ingstad Comedy Tour performance featuring comedian Fred Bevill and magician and entertainer Ian Batterbury. The tour is currently making its way across Minnesota and North Dakota.
The giveaway capped off weeks of qualifying across the Ingstad Minnesota Radio Network, with listeners throughout the region earning chances to attend the finale and take home the grand prize.

IMRN thanks everyone who qualified, attended the finale and followed along throughout the King of the Castle, Queen of the Cash Giveaway.
