Montevideo’s Judge Van Hon Retires; Leaves Open Seat

The open seat will be chambered in Chippewa County in Montevideo, Minnesota, upon the retirement of Judge Thomas W. Van Hon. Interviews for the role are expected to start in September.

On Monday, the Commission on Judicial Selection announced a vacancy in the Eighth Judicial District of Minnesota upon the retirement of Judge Thomas W. Van Hon.

Van Hon has served as district court Judge for almost 12 years.
