Morris Area Arts Boosters Festival and Carnival
The Morris Area Arts Boosters 18th Annual Arts Festival & Carnival will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Morris Area Elementary School. There will be carnival games and prizes, a creative cake walk, face painting with the Girl Scouts, arts and crafts activities led by Stevens County 4H, live entertainment, Storytime with Elementary Media Manager Lori Kurpiers, grilled concessions, karaoke, and a silent auction with many unique items from local businesses as well as statewide arts venues. Dancers from the Footnotes Studio of Dance will kick things off with a performance at 11:00. The event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Arts Boosters, which provides arts enrichment opportunities for all students in the Morris School District.
