MOTION FILED FOR APPEAL IN BAUER CONVICTION

Attorneys for Travis Bauer filed motions in Sibley County District Court Friday to impeach the jury’s guilty verdict in the recent murder trial which found Bauer guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Dennis Weitzenkamp  at a farmsite near Winthrop in September 2022.  Bauer was found not-guilty of first-degree murder.  A hearing is scheduled for Friday at 2 pm where the prosecution will give their arguments on the motions.
