Motorcyclist Dies in Hennepin Co Crash

A motorcyclist died in a crash with an SUV in Hennepin County Friday night in Minnetrista.

The State Patrol says 24-year-old Johnathan Hommer died at the scene. The Patrol did not list a city of residence for Hommer but MNN reports he’s from Lester Prairie.

The driver and passenger in the SUV, 41-year-old Miriam Sanderson and 34-year-old Meghan Sanderson of Mound, were not injured.

The Patrol says the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 7 and County Road 44 just before 11pm.
