Motorcyclist Injured in Stearns Co Crash

A Cold Spring man was injured when his motorcycle hit a trailer in Stearns County Wednesday afternoon, north of St. Joseph.

When deputies arrived, they located the driver of the motorcycle, 74-year-old Ralph Sieben, laying on the back of the flat-deck trailer being tended to by St. Joseph Fire & Rescue. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Sieben told deputies he was driving at about 55 MPH and was looking out across a farm field just prior to the crash. When focusing back on the road, he noticed the pickup truck and trailer slowing in front of him to turn and he could not avoid the collision.

The driver of the pickup and his passenger were not injured.
