Motorcyclist Injured in Wright County Crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Wright County Wednesday afternoon northwest of Rockford.

The State Patrol says 72-year-old Curtis Otterness of Elk River was taken to North Memorial for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Otterness was traveling eastbound on Highway 55 and was turning north onto Eckert Avenue when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed at about 3pm.

He was not wearing a helmet.
