Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in McLeod Co Crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in McLeod County Saturday night northwest of Brownton.

The State Patrol says 45-year-old Jason Wehking of Eagle Bend was taken to Hutchinson ER for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Wehking was traveling northbound on highway 15 when he hit a deer that was crossing from the east ditch near 85th Circle.

Wehking was not wearing a helmet.

The crash happened just after 8:30pm.
