Multiple Injuries in McLeod County Crash

Multiple injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in McLeod County Thursday afternoon in Hutchinson.

The State Patrol says the driver of one of the vehicles, 56-year-old Amy Derrera of Fairmont, and her two passengers, 44-year-old Kacee Griffith of Slayton and 41-year-old Jadie Saliaris of Little Falls, were taken to HCMC in Minneapolis for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

According to the crash report, the Patrol says the driver of the other vehicle, 40-year-old Jaqueline Sommer of Hutchinson, was taken to HCMC but did not indicate injuries. Her passenger, 16-year-old Destiny Stroklund of Hutchinson, was not injured.

The crash happened on Highway 22 at California Street just before 5pm.
