Name Released of Teen Who Died While In Willmar Facility

(Learfield News/Willmar, MN) — Officials have released the name of a 13-year-old boy who died last week while living in a state care correctional facility in Willmar.

Edison Hah was discovered unresponsive at Prairie Lakes Youth Programs.

The cause and manner of death are pending investigation, according to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.

The police say there were no signs of trauma or violent death.

Because the death occurred in a state-licensed facility, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is leading the investigation.
