National College Bass Championship Coming to Leech Lake

Some of the nation’s top college bass anglers will compete on Leech Lake this week.

The 2026 Bassmaster College Championship runs Thursday through Saturday. Teams from across the country qualified through six tournaments held during the spring.

Daily takeoffs and weigh-ins will be held in Walker. The winning team will advance to the College Classic Bracket, where one angler will earn a spot in the 2027 Bassmaster Classic.
