NDSU President Open to Future Bison Football Game Overseas

North Dakota State University President Marshall Stewart says the possibility of playing a future Bison football game overseas is worth discussing.

Stewart joined N-D-S-U after serving in senior leadership at Kansas State, which opened its 2025 season against Iowa State in Dublin, Ireland. He says international college football can provide added exposure for a university while creating a unique experience for students and fans.

No opponent, destination or possible date has been identified, and N-D-S-U has not announced plans for an overseas game.

The Bison begin their first season at the F-B-S level Saturday against Jacksonville State at the Fargodome.
