NEW ULM MAN HURT IN SHIRLEY’S PARK INCIDENT

A New Ulm man was hurt in an incident at Shirley’s Park near New Ulm Wednesday evening.  The Brown County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls at 6:25 pm say a person was run over by a tractor.  The initial investigation indicates 57-year-old Brian Domeier was operating an Allis Chalmers tractor for tree removal.  He was standing in front of the right rear tractor tire when it jumped into a forward gear, running over Domeier.  The tractor continued moving and struck a nearby camper trailer and twoChevrolet Equinoxes.  Domeier was airlifted from the scene.  No word on the severity of his injuries.  Another person, 72-year-old Gloria Voth of Harlingen, Texas suffered minor injuries when she was struck by an unknown object.  The incident remains under investigation.
