NEW ULM MAN KILLED IN MEEKER COUNTY CRASH
A New Ulm man was killed in a crash in Meeker County Tuesday morning shortly before noon. The state patrol was called at 11:43 to Highway 4 and 535th Avenue. 71-year-old David Wilbert Hermel was killed when the Ford F150 he was driving went off Highway 4 and went into a drainage ditch. Authorities say he was not wearing a seat belt. Cosmos Fire and ambulance and the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
