NEW ULM PURPLE PLACES SECOND IN STATE KNOWLEDGE BOWL

New Ulm Purple Knowledge Bowl team placed second in the state competition.  Their day included competing against 2025 state champion and eventual 2026 state champion Melrose.  Purple did come in second place with a score of 111.5, Melrose had 118.5.  St. John’s Prep, Albany and Perham rounded out the top five.  New Ulm ivory finished ninth out of 18 teams in Division AAA.  The Purple team consisted of Henry Albrecht, Hunter Dauer, Sophie Berger, Kaden Schaefer and Ryan Martinka.  New Ulm Ivory featured Luther Beran, Alessandro Enamorado, Emory Mihlbauer, Lauren Kveno and Jonas Rainwater.
