New Ulm Woman Injured During Crash

A New Ulm woman was forced off the road into a crossover embankment, Friday afternoon in Mankato. The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting, that a 2012 Honda CR-V, driven by 57 year old Darlene Sharon Filsen of New Ulm, was traveling west on Highway 14, when another vehicle merged on to the highway in the left lane, near Victory Drive, causing the Honda to go into the ditch and strike the crossover embankment. Filsen suffered non life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato Hospital. Mankato Police, Mankato Fire, Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
