Nick Hoffmann

Nicholas “Nick” Albert Hoffmann, age 39 of rural Nicollet, passed peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 20,
2026, with his family by his side following a hard-fought battle with lung cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New
Ulm. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at St. Mary’s Church prior to the Mass. Father
Jerry Meidl will celebrate the Mass, and a private burial will follow in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Cemetery in
Lafayette.
In keeping this service true Nick’s nature, the family invites everyone to come as they are and encourages casual attire.
Following the burial, a public Celebration of Nick’s Life will be held at Turner Hall in New Ulm.
