NICOLLET COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING LAFAYETTE INCIDENT

The Nicollet County Sheriff’s office is investigating an incident that left a woman injured in Lafayette Friday night.  Authorities say Lafayette ambulance was called to 780 Main Avenue Friday at 10:14 pm for a woman who had a wound to the back of her head.  She was taken to New Ulm Medical Center and then transferred to the Hennepin County Medical Center.  No other information was made available but the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office says there is no known threat to the public.  The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
