NICOLLET COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WARNING OF SCAM

The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office is warning you of a scam involving the sheriff’s office.  Authorities say they are receiving reports from several citizens who have gotten a phone call from someone claiming to be Aaron Peterson with the sheriff’s office.  The person is demanding money and threatening arrest if the money isn’t paid.  The sheriff’s office is asking you to disregard these phone calls and if you have questions, you can call the sheriff’s office at 507-931-1570.
