NINE HURT IN REDWOOD COUNTY CRASH

Nine people were reportedly hurt in a collision on Highway 68 and Redwood County Road 10 in Granite Rock Township Redwood County Sunday afternoon.  The state patrol was called at 2:21 pm and found a GMC Acadia driven by 47-year-old Kristi Huge of Chandler and a Jeep Cherokee driven by 36-year-old Kristi Lynn Downing of Minneota had collided.  Downing and her passenger 26-year-old Cody Doose of Minneota were taken to Tracy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The Acadia had six passengers including three juveniles.  All were taken to Marshall hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Lucan Fire and First Responders, Wabasso, Walnut Grove, Tracy, CentraCare and North Ambulances all assisted at the scene.
