No Injuries Reported In Collision Involving A Tow Truck In Pennington County

Authorities say fog and ice were to blame after a vehicle struck a tow truck late last month in Pennington County. 

According to the Sheriff’s Office report, Ridge Jones of Thief River Falls was attempting to pull another car out of the ditch at Pembina Trail Road near 130th Street Northwest when a northbound 2025 Volvo drove into the tow truck cable. 

Officials say the driver of the Volvo, Marcus Baillargeon of Middle River was “unable to stop in time due to fog and ice”. 

Deputies responded just before 10am on Monday, December 30th, 2024. 

No injuries were reported.
