NO ONE HURT IN TURKEY BARN FIRE NEAR MAPLETON

A turkey barn was destroyed by a fire Wednesday morning near Mapleton.  Blue Earth County officials say they received a call around 9 am about a barn being fully engulfed.  Authorities say it is a Jennie-O operation and they were expecting a shipment of turkeys so no birds were in the building.  No workers were  hurt either.  Mapleton requested help from several area fire departments.
