Norwood-Young America Man Charged for Shooting Neighbor’s Dog
A Norwood-Young America man has been charged for allegedly shooting his neighbor’s family dog earlier this month.
Carver County Attorney Mark Metz announced criminal charges against 55-year-old Patrick Darryl Will for his alleged shooting of the family’s therapy service dog on June 15.
Will is charged with unjustifiably killing a companion animal, a felony-level offense.
Following a court appearance, Will was released on $500 cash bail or $5000 bond and on the conditions that he is to have no contact with the alleged victims, make all court appearances, and he is not to possess firearms.
His next court appearance is scheduled for July 20.
