Oba Femi Defeats Former Gopher Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam

Oba Femi defeated former University of Minnesota wrestling champion Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell during Saturday’s opening night of WWE SummerSlam at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Femi survived a Tombstone piledriver onto the exposed wooden boards beneath the ring before delivering his Fall from Grace finishing move for the victory.

After the match, Lesnar embraced Femi and told the Minneapolis crowd that Femi is the future of WWE.

Elsewhere, CM Punk retained the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes following interference from a returning Randy Orton. Liv Morgan also successfully defended the Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY.
