Officers Report Enforcement Action For ATV Operators and Riders

A number of ATV safety violations were reported this week by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. 

Conservation Officer Jeremy Woinarowicz in Thief River Falls says enforcement action for the week included no helmet on a juvenile ATV passenger, and ATV-registration violations. Conservation Officer Tony Hams in Warroad says violations encountered were juvenile operation of an ATV, allowing illegal operation, driving after revocation. 

Meanwhile, Conservation Officer Coby Fontes in Warroad reports that he “handled a nuisance-bear complaint, which was one of many he has received so far this season”. Fontes is also happy to report the area lady slippers are in full bloom.
