One Arrested in Litchfield Drug Bust

One person was arrested after authorities executed a search warrant at a Litchfield residence this morning (Friday)

At 9:18 am, the Litchfield Police Department and the CEE-VI Drug Task Force with the assistance of the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 300 block of West Weisel Street.

The warrant was in connection with an ongoing drug investigation and officers seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say a 51-year-old man was arrested and is currently being held on Felony Charges of Third-Degree Possession of Methamphetamine and Fifth Degree Possession of Methamphetamine.

The investigation continues and authorities say more arrests can be expected.
