One Driver Injured in Renville County Crash

One driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Renville County Thursday northwest of Olivia.

The Sheriff’s Office says 68-year-old Myron Macik of Hector was transported by private vehicle to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities say Macik was traveling north on 300th Street and failed to stop at the intersection with County Road 11 and struck an eastbound trailer being pulled by a pickup, driven by 61-year-old Jeffery Manderscheid of Olivia. He was not injured.

The crash happened just before noon.
