One Driver Injured in Semi/SUV Crash in Kandiyohi Co

One driver was injured in a semi/SUV crash in Stearns County Tuesday morning, west of Atwater.

The State Patrol says 20-year-old Lily Jo Hanson of Grove City was taken to Willmar Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. She was driving the SUV.

The driver of the semi, 38-year-old Matthew Frederickson of Hanska, was not injured.

The Patrol says both vehicles were westbound on Highway 12 when the crash happened near the intersection of 165th Street NE, just after 8am.
